BIO Jonathan Young

Jonathan began his comedy career as part of the Oxford University Revue which won the Golden Turkey Award for worst show at The Edinburgh Festival. He went on to perform stand up in the USA, Australia, and throughout the UK and on television as part of the young comedians showcase on the BBC. He lives hand-to-mouth from the sporadic $453 royalty cheques he receives from roles in the #1 rated HBO series, Band of Brothers, which his wife reminds him, is not a comedy. He also guest starred as Clive in Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place on Channel 4 in the UK. He has performed at Just For Laughs regularly since 2008 and just writing that makes him feel old. He is the parent of two children who are dumbfounded that people think he’s funny. In his spare time, he paints and runs reinsurance companies.
